Adaptiva Launches New Client Health Windows 10 Security Package

SEATTLE — November 1, 2017 — Adaptiva, the market leader in modern endpoint management and security, today announced the launch of a new Windows 10 Security Package for the company’s Client Health™ endpoint security engine. The package consists of 19 new health checks specifically designed to automatically find and fix Windows 10-related endpoint security configuration management issues. This brings the total number of health checks included in the Adaptiva Client Health product to over 100 and enables enterprises to proactively maintain the security of their Windows 10 endpoints without manual effort.

“Enterprises can only take advantage of the security benefits of Windows 10 if they can reliably and continuously ensure that their endpoints are configured correctly,” said Jim Souders, CEO of Adaptiva. “Today’s IT pros simply do not have the time necessary to troubleshoot and repair Windows 10 compliancy issues on a device-by-device basis. The new Windows 10 Security Package in Client Health uses intelligent, self-managing automation to drive endpoint compliance and configurations at scale even in the most demanding environments.”

The Adaptiva Client Health product is trusted by leading organizations throughout the world to improve IT efficiency by automatically checking the security configuration management settings of endpoints, diagnosing any problems, and fixing issues in seconds. It delivers IT professionals the automation necessary to keep up with the pace of troubleshooting and resolving endpoint security issues on a massive scale. Client Health automation is powered by a flexible WorkFlow Designer and Engine which enables enterprises to create their own health checks and remediations as well as integrate with existing business processes, without writing a single line of code.

Client Health’s new Windows 10 Security Package includes health checks that automate a variety of endpoint security functions such as:

- Verifying that key Windows 10 features like Device Guard, Credential Guard, and Secure Boot are enabled and active on the endpoint.

- Checking that the endpoint has all software prerequisites and minimum required hardware specifications to support Windows 10 and its key security features.

- Determining that the correct version of Windows 10 is running on each endpoint.

Accelerated adoption of the new Windows 10 OS makes the release of Adaptiva’s Windows 10 Security Package particularly timely. According to Adaptiva’s recent 2017 Windows 10 Enterprise Impact Survey, nearly 53 percent of respondents have already migrated more than 10 percent of their systems to Windows 10, and 28 percent are more than halfway through their migrations. That number is expected to climb to 52 percent by this time next year.

Despite the desired security benefits enterprises gain from moving to Windows 10, IT teams must still find efficient ways to drive compliance across newly migrated endpoints. According to Adaptiva’s 2017 Enterprise Endpoint Security Survey, 55 percent of respondents believe that security policy compliance needs to be checked “at least daily” on every endpoint company-wide. Unfortunately, 45 percent of respondents indicated they lack the time to automate the endpoint security management process and nearly a third felt their staff lacked the necessary skills to write their own automation tools. Adaptiva solves these problems by fully automating the security compliance process and ensuring that every endpoint remains secure and up to date at all times.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing for Client Health, which includes the new Windows 10 Security Package, starts at $12/endpoint. Current Adaptiva Client Health customers will receive the Windows 10 Security Package health checks when they upgrade to the newest release of Client Health, free of charge.
