Nidhi Kaila, from the Consultant Diaries, recently posted a blog entry on data consolidation. She make a clever analogy between data consolidation and the space occupied by the population of a village. She is not against consolidation.
“My point is that, while most hardware firms are focusing big time on hardware consolidation – data centers, servers etc., it is important to focus on the consolidation of that data itself.”
