Birst Inc., the leading provider of software-as-a-service business intelligence (SaaS BI) and analytics, today announced the availability of Birst 4 Winter Release 2011, the most comprehensive, easy-to-use business intelligence solution available on-demand. Birst already delivers critical insight to a wide array of companies, from enterprises in the Fortune 500 to medium sized businesses, including Citrix Systems, Securian, RBC, Rackspace Hosting, People Answers, Evoco, and Xactly. Birst’s modern, agile approach to business intelligence delivers important business insights in days and weeks, far more quickly and at a far more affordable price than traditional on-premise solutions. The new features available in the Birst 4 Winter Release further expand Birst’s dramatic advantages in speed, ease of use, and analytical power.

“The rapidly expanding Birst customer community is a testament to the success of our agile, modern approach to business intelligence,” said Brad Peters, CEO, Birst. “This latest release illustrates our continued commitment to bringing the power of insight to a greater number of people — it has even faster speeds, makes it easier than ever for business questions to get answered, and provides greater flexibility with the SAP connector and data deployment options.”

Birst Memory Expressions

With the Birst 4 Winter Release, Birst launches Birst Memory Expressions, a powerful in-memory engine bringing new levels of flexibility to Business Intelligence. Based on Birst Expression Language (BEL), business analysts can create reports and analysis of unrivaled richness and sophistication.
