San Francisco, May 9, 2013 — BullGuard, a leader in user-friendly PC and mobile security solutions for consumers, today announced a new program, “Tell A Friend,” designed to help customers gain rewards such as free or discounted services for referring their friends to the software company.

Both current users of BullGuard – and new customers – can take advantage of the “Tell A Friend” program. They must simply log in to their account or create a new one. From their account homepage, they will be able to send emails about BullGuard to their friends while the site monitors and records their successful referrals. Potential customers can learn about the product and decide whether or not to make a purchase. If a new user is interested they can take advantage of the rewards program and purchase at a discounted price.

Friends can be invited to join BullGuard via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter or by direct link. Every friend referred will have the option to either buy BullGuard Internet Security for half price, or accept a sixty-day free trial, after which they will still be allowed to purchase at the discounted rate. For every friend that buys BullGuard Internet Security 2013, the inviter will receive 1 “order credit,” and for every friend that takes a free trial the user gets 1 “trial credit”. Each order credit earned can be redeemed for 50% off coupons for future purchases of BullGuard products. For every three trial credits redeemed, users will receive one completely free month of service.

“The Tell A Friend program is being rolled out in appreciation of our customers,” said BullGuard CEO, Nedko Ivanov. “By offering a discounted service, we are confident that new users will become believers before long. This initiative will help BullGuard grow through word of mouth, and we would like to reward the loyal customers who have helped us attain that growth.”

Award-winning BullGuard Internet Security 2013 provides tougher resistance against online intruders, intercepting viruses based on how they behave on a computer, walling off cyber hackers and thieves, and warning users of websites harboring malicious code before they click. The software’s multiple layers of protection include parental controls and are accessible through an intuitive user interface, producing a powerful, easy-to-use online security tool that takes only minutes to install.
