Santa Clara, Calif., July 28, 2015 – Today, CliQr, the leading application-defined cloud management platform provider, announces general availability of CloudCenter 4.0. As a leader in helping global corporations model, deploy and manage one to many, new and existing applications across any physical, virtual or cloud environment. This release sets new levels of flexibility, visibility and control, making it easy for businesses to take advantage of the benefits of the cloud in critical enterprise environments.

“CliQr’s goal with CloudCenter 4.0 is to provide a cloud management platform as accessible, manageable and secure as even the best traditional IT environments,” says Tenry Fu, co-founder and CTO of CliQr. “For businesses that see the advantages of the cloud, CliQr’s technology makes the cloud accessible, secure and manageable whether they’re jumping in with one application on one cloud or rolling-out a complex, hybrid cloud-based ITaaS environment, including combinations of private and public execution venues.”

“Unlike other cloud management platforms that focus primarily on infrastructure, CliQr’s CloudCenter enables the infrastructure to dynamically conform to the unique type and needs of the application,” says Jeffrey Kaplan, managing director of THINKstrategies, Inc. and founder of the Cloud Computing Showplace. “As the gulf between application development teams and IT operations teams narrows, CliQr gives both a common platform that fosters communication and empowers DevOps to function collaboratively.”

Delivered as both a CliQr-hosted SaaS platform or a dedicated customer deployment, CloudCenter 4.0 is the result of working directly with customers to understand their real-world requirements for making cloud-based environments an integral component of their diverse compute infrastructure environments and strategies. Additions and enhancements included in the CloudCenter 4.0 version include:
