Cloud Customers Must Understand Weak Points
May 12, 2011 No CommentsA panel of cloud computing advocates met the issue of the recent Amazon Web Services and Sony Playstation Network outages head on Wednesday at Interop 2011 in Las Vegas, a UBM TechWeb event.
In the hallways, meeting rooms, and watering holes of the Mandalay Bay convention facilities, the Amazon outage in particular was a leading topic of discussion. In many cases, one attendee asked another whether it meant cloud computing had suffered a setback.
