Dell to acquire Boomi as enhancement to cloud portfolio

Dell said today that it will acquire Boomi, a Software-as-a-Service integration company, marking another push by the company to enhance its cloud computing offerings. The official announcement comes just after company CEO Michael Dell suggested that the acquisition news was coming during a speaking event in Hong Kong. During that event, Dell also spoke of the tablet PC market and the debates that have come with its arrival.
