DIKW signs Business Intelligence partnership agreement with Yellowfin

May 9, 2013 No Comments

SOURCE: Yellowfin

The agreement will see DIKW make Yellowfin’s easy-to-use BI solution, and associated training and implementation services, available to its broad range of clients and businesses throughout Benelux (Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg).

DIKW’s Managing Director, Wim Lubbers, said that DIKW was searching for a highly intuitive, functionally rich, 100 percent Web-based reporting solution that would deliver great value to its clients, and that Yellowfin was an obvious choice.

“The Total Cost of Ownership of traditional BI systems tends to be very high,” said Lubbers.  “We noticed a strong need for a more flexible, easy-to-use and cost efficient solution amongst our customers.  In the tool selection process we also tested several BI reporting tools like Tableau, Spotfire, QlickView, Oracle OBIEE, SAP Business Objects, Microstrategy, Pentaho, Cognos, Strategy Companion and Microsoft SSRS. The only tool DIKW found that met all these requirements to a satisfactory standard was Yellowfin. Yellowfin offers a highly innovative BI platform that fully meets the needs and requirements of our customers.”

Yellowfin’s Strategic Alliances Manager for EMEA, Daniel Shaw-Dennis, said the new alliance would help to expand Yellowfin’s European marketplace presence – a core strategic goal for 2013.

“DIKW has vast experience in delivering successful BI solutions throughout the Benelux region,” said Shaw-Dennis.  “With DIKW’s reputation for BI excellence, we’re confident that the DIKW – Yellowfin partnership will be able to effectively meet marketplace demand for consumer-oriented and easy-to-implement BI technologies throughout the Benelux region.”
