The Internet first began reshaping corporate thinking about smart analytics several years ago. Consequently, companies in virtually every industry sector jumped on the smart analytics bandwagon. These companies have made analytics investments and acquisitions to meet demand. They have been joined by smaller, entrepreneurial companies that also see the opportunity to sell analytics.
