FoamBot is an experimental robot from UPenn’s ModLab. It’s a robot that carries around a set of versatile modules as well as a cannon that fires sticky foam. When needed, it can arrange the modules on the ground, connect them with foam and create a whole new robot. “The whole point is that a single FoamBot can handle many, many different tasks,” said research associate Shai Revzen.
