How Big Data Shapes Business Results

March 20, 2012 No Comments

At the SAP BI2012 conference the keynote session was titled “How Big Data Shapes Business Results” by Steve Lucas, SAP EVP Business Analytics, Database & Technology and Tim Elliot, Technology Evangelist.

This keynote offers a critical look at how these trends are fuelling the explosion of what may be the most important market and technology trend for 2012 and beyond: big data — the dramatic increase in the volume and detail of information captured both inside and outside of organizations — and its correlation to business performance.

I was unable to find the keynote presentation online quite yet. However, it is noted on Tim Elliot’s post that it will be available online soon.  Tim’s post gives a brief run-down on what was said at the keynote. Read Tim’s post here.
