MeeGo Loses Its Last Friend as Intel Turns to Tizen

First Nokia kicked MeeGo to the curb, and now Intel has scorned it too. Instead, the chipmaker’s attentions have now turned to Tizen, an open source mobile OS that focuses on HTML5 support. The company sees the future in HTML5, and Tizen was the way to go. In the next couple months, Intel will work to make sure MeeGo developers can get through the transition.
