Research In Motion announced more information about its next mobile OS, which will be dubbed “BBX.” It’s a hybrid of the company’s existing BlackBerry OS and QNX. It’ll run Android apps in a virtual environment. That may make it a more versatile platform, but it could also be costly. “Wherever your developers go, your users will eventually end up,” said analyst Rob Enderle.
