Hybrid cloud computing is increasingly coming to the forefront as companies begin to realise that server virtualization is not a standalone solution.

According to GoGrid technology evangelist Michael Sheehan, despite the claim that cloud computing will do away with the need for hardware, many firms are still using legacy applications so, during the changeover period, hybrid solutions are going to be necessary.
