Blogging can be a great hobby, but for many bloggers, it is also a main source of income. There are many different methods to choose from when it comes to generating a blog revenue, but perhaps the most popular are either Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing, or affiliate programs. Using these schemes, you will promote products and services on your blog on behalf of other businesses in your niche; for example, if you run a tech blog, then you can advertise electronic gadgets and technological accessories for interested readers to buy. Want to know more? We’ve listed some of the most popular methods of making money from your blog.

Method #1. Pay Per Click Advertising:

PPC advertising is a hugely popular method of generating an income from your blog. The most commonly used service for doing this is Google AdSense, which works by placing advertisements on your blog that are tailored to each viewer, depending on the type of things that they search for and look at online. In terms of your earnings, you will earn a commission each time a viewer clicks through on the ad to find out more; in some cases, you may be able to earn more if a purchase is made. However, there are some cases where you may be unable to use Google AdSense, such as if you are using a free WordPress blog, or even if you are banned. Find out more about some great alternatives at https://www.seoclerk.com/faq/19219/Banned-by-Adsense-Here-are-some-adsense-alternatives.

Method #2. Affiliate Marketing:

If you’d rather pick and choose the products and services that you advertise on your blog, then the best way to do this is through affiliate marketing. There are thousands of businesses that offer affiliate schemes, or you may be able to join an affiliate site where you can choose from a list of potential merchants to partner up with. One of the most popular affiliate marketing schemes today is Amazon Associates; since Amazon is a large global marketplace selling everything from iPhone cases to furniture and large electrical goods, you can be sure that there is plenty of choice to browse through when it comes to finding suitable products to advertise. When it comes to earning money, you will be paid a commission on each product that is successfully sold due to your advertisement. Commission will vary depending on the type of product that you sell and the amount that it sells for.

Method #3. Premium Content

Lastly, an alternative method of generating an income from your blog is through selling premium content. In most cases, this method is only effective for blogs that have been established for a while and have a large reader base who are willing to pay to access more content than your regular blog posts. For example, you could charge your readers a small monthly fee to access an exclusive newsletter that they can’t get elsewhere. Or, you could consider writing an eBook to sell on your blog; this is a great way to make a passive income.
