By its nature, innovation is unpredictable. It twists and turns based on the whims and inspirations of geniuses and visionaries. However, the manner by which those innovations move into the market is fairly predictable. When a technology solves a real problem, when it fundamentally improves the way companies do business, we can easily forecast its path to widespread adoption. That is certainly true of virtualization, which now sits on the cusp of ubiquity.
