Manage your Data Center on Your iPad with these 2 new apps

March 21, 2011 No Comments

VMware recently released two new apps for the iPad. The first app, that was released last week, is called the VMware View. This app enables users to remotely access a virtual desktop from the iPad. VMware View modernizes desktops and applications by moving them into the cloud and delivering them as a managed service.

This week, VMware announced a new app vSphere Client for iPad. It is a companion interface to the vSphere client. It gives vSphere administrators a set of management tools. These tools can start, stop and suspend your Virtual Machines. vSphere hosts can also be rebooted or put into maintenance mode.

Both apps are available to download via iTunes free of charge. You can read more about these apps on the VMware website
