CHARLOTTE, NC, Feb 15, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) — Yodil, Inc., a provider of business intelligence (BI), data analytics, and operational and management reporting to the insurance industry, has signed an agreement with Mountain States Insurance Group (MSIG), an insurance carrier specializing in commercial insurance coverage. Mountain States will subscribe to the full complement of Yodil’s business intelligence platform in a multi-year Software as a Service (SaaS) agreement. MSIG’s product portfolio includes more than eight commercial lines of business ranging from BOP and Commercial Package to Workers Compensation, Inland Marine, and Auto.

“Mountain States is a perfect match for us,” said Fred Waite, CEO of Yodil. “We specialize in delivering analytical data and reporting to insurers that enable them to monitor, measure, and manage their businesses. While MSIG is working on implementing a new policy administration system, our experts are implementing the Yodil platform to bring the data from their two systems together. Our platform will provide them with meaningful operational and analytical reports, scorecards, and dashboards. In addition, this partnership will allow us to develop two reusable integration connectors for prominent policy administration systems, enabling hundreds of additional insurance carriers to realize the benefits of Yodil and the BI we provide.”

Mountain States Chief Risk Officer, Beau Irwin, commented, “At Mountain States, we rely on our data for decision-making. It’s important that we’re able to focus our energies on analyzing and using information rather than on the processes of organizing and integrating it. Yodil allows us to do just that, at a significantly lower cost, while still providing us a scalable data warehouse and robust business intelligence capabilities, combined with ease of use and quick implementation.”
