Cloud.com, a provider open source cloud computing software, on Tuesday announced that Appcore, a global business information systems provider, is using the company’s flagship product, CloudStack, for its private cloud computing platform. Appcore has over 20 years of experience in the software industry and its technology includes a suite of products that produce a private cloud computing platform, which ensures customers are receiving the solutions they need to meet growing business demands.

“We had a hard time finding a solution that could deliver both a clean user interface to our customers and our necessities as a service provider, such as billing and metering. After an extensive search, we found that Cloud.com was able to provide the technology and expertise we needed to ensure we are delivering the best product to our customers,” said Brian Patrick Donaghy, CEO at Appcore. “CloudStack has the benefits of open source, transparency and flexibility, while also enabling us to deliver the reliable solution that is needed at half the cost to our customers. With Cloud.com, Appcore is able to provide traditional hosted services and merge it with the cloud to provide the best of both worlds, security and reliability with all the speed and agility cloud computing has to offer.”
