August 6, 2012 No Comments

Radnor, PA – 1 August 2012

QlikTech (NASDAQ: QLIK), a leader in Business Discovery—user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), today announced that Fritz Holter GmbH has deployed QlikView on iPad to improve customer interactions by giving field sales representatives self-service access and insight into critical customer data, anytime and anywhere. Using QlikView on iPad, Holter, one of the largest sanitary and heating wholesalers in Austria, can give its customers complete and instant visibility into their product data and transactions, all with the mobility and ease-of-use of the iPad.

“QlikView is indispensable for customer data analysis at our company,” said Reinhard Reder, sales manager at Fritz Holter GmbH. “With QlikView’s Business Discovery platform, future strategic development opportunities can be simplified to facilitate decisions and optimize the control and management of the sales team. Based on the results we’ve already seen, the number of users and the future uses of QlikView will be continuously expanded and developed.”

Having navigated nearly a century and a half of technological advances, Holter remains a family business, with a strong commitment to its staff and an innovative management approach. In order to maintain its position as a leading wholesaler in Austria, Holter is also tracking its key corporate performance indicators with QlikView, which include sales statistics, performance measurement, and customer profitability. QlikView also quickly and easily evaluates Holter’s extensive data sets, or Big Data, including nearly 100 million records from the company’s most important enterprise applications.

“A big plus of QlikView is its flexibility,” continued Reder. “Within a short time, users can use the software independently. It’s the true meaning of ‘self-service BI’ and IT is relieved because they are no longer burdened with a backlog of reports and they don’t need not build and maintain multiple variations of queries and reports.”
