Kevin Mosher Named AppViewX as Chief Revenue Officer to Drive Global Channel Opportunities in the “New Normal”

September 24, 2020 No Comments

By Peter Kelley

AppViewX today appointed Kevin Mosher as Chief Revenue Officer. Mosher will oversee all revenue generation, customer and partner operations, and multi-channel go-to-market activities to streamline global field operations and across emerging and existing markets.

AppViewX CEO Gregory Webb, reflecting on the COVID-19 pandemic and the new impetus for enterprise automation said: “The global situation has created new opportunities to VARS and integrators through changes in how enterprises are prioritizing their budgets.”

Webb notes that although IT spending overall dropped unexpectedly in response to the Global Pandemic and its tightening of revenue streams, analysts forsee increases moving forward – particularly in business continuity enablement, where AppViewX works with channel partners to demonstrate value.

“Digital Transformation efforts have been forcibly accelerated across organizations, with enterprises looking to the channel for the right mix of solutions that can help them navigate the new/next normal. We’ve seen an uptick in frontend solutions for working from home, but up until now, not much relief for IT departments,” Web said.

“There is a huge, growing need for low-code automation platforms that is still something the channel hasn’t jumped on yet,” said Kevin Mosher, Chief Revenue Officer at AppViewX. “These low-code automation platforms will single-handedly play a huge role in democratizing digital transformation for enterprises.” Low-code automation platforms enable users, irrespective of their coding ability, to create value without having to depend on programmers.

“There are a few players here, but customers still lack the knowledge on how these platforms can add value in part because competing platforms haven’t demonstrated it,” Mosher said. “By taking small initial steps to help improve network functions and service availability, end users can pave way for a bigger transformation in how enterprises manage their networks in the future. The channel must also help end users look forward and futureproof its infrastructure rather than just finding technology to help fill a current gap, and that’s where we will partner deeply with our resellers and integrators.”

“I’m very excited to be working with Kevin again, especially after witnessing firsthand the added value and impact he has on an organization’s sales engine,” Webb added.’

Mosher was most recently the Chief Revenue Officer at Bromium, where he played a vital role in the company’s acquisition by HP. He previously held leadership positions with Delphix, ArcSight, Oracle and Portal Software.

AppViewX is a leader in modular, low-code IT orchestration for certificate and key lifecycle automation, infrastructure orchestration, and IoT and DevOps security solutions. The company also announced the appointments of veteran channel leaders Chris Poulos and Mark Washburn to drive the Asia Pacific Japan and US markets, and further support AppViewX global channel partners and programs.
