SAN MATEO, CA, Nov 29, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) — Star Analytics, Inc., the leader in application process automation and integration software, today announced that McAfee, the world’s largest dedicated security technology company, has deployed Star Command Center and Star Integration Server to automate and integrate processes and data within its QlikView Business Discovery environment.

“Star Command Center and Star Integration Server are important components that support our QlikView Business Discovery initiative,” says Jeff Brobst, vice president of Finance at McAfee. “Both products tightly couple integration and automation into a single cohesive package, ensuring the right data is provided to QlikView at the right time.”

The integration was developed in close cooperation with StarPartner QlikTech, a leader in Business Discovery — user-driven Business Intelligence (BI). The Star Command Center Plug-in Task Pack for QlikView provides self-service automation for end-users and real-time refreshes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Oracle Hyperion source data flowing into QlikView.

“It’s rewarding to know that our partnership with QlikTech is delivering strong business value for clients like McAfee,” said Quinlan Eddy, founder and CEO, Star Analytics. “We see a great opportunity to extend this collaboration to help more joint customers reduce the cost and complexity of automating and integrating their business intelligence applications that exist on-premise and in the Cloud.”
