The healthcare company joins Barclays, IPC, Telstra, United Rentals and Vodafone using WhereScape RED to build or extend Teradata data warehouses

PORTLAND, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–WhereScape, a provider of agile development solutions for building and extending data warehouses, announced today that MedAssets, a financial improvement partner for healthcare providers, has purchased WhereScape RED. Using WhereScape RED, MedAssets will be able to conduct agile, iterative development of its new Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance running the database from Teradata (NYSE: TDC), the analytic data solutions company.

MedAssets joins dozens of companies, including British multinational banking company Barclays, SUBWAY franchisee purchasing cooperative IPC, equipment rental company United Rentals, Australian telecommunications and media company Telstra, and multinational mobile communications company Vodafone, who are using WhereScape’s agile development environment to build or extend Teradata^® data warehouses. The MedAssets Agile Data Warehouse
