London, 24 August 2012 – SQS Software Quality Systems UK has been recognised as one of this year’s 50 Best IT Training Providers in the UK by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI).

Already accredited by several well-respected training bodies, the world’s leading specialist in software quality was included by the LPI thanks to its impressive growth and financial results over 2011/2012.

The LPI’s IT Training Provider Top 50 has been charting the success of sector-specific training organisations for over a decade, by gathering the revenues of companies with training businesses and reporting their fiscal success over the last financial year. This year’s list sees SQS ranked alongside long-established training providers such as Hewlett-Packard Education, IBM and Logica, as one of the UK’s top performing companies offering IT training.

SQS Training & Conferences Director, Steve Dennis, comments: “SQS has delivered IT training for the testing and development communities since 1982. This expertise combined with our constantly-evolving approach to software testing training courses has been recognised by delegates, industry bodies and now through our ranking within this year’s LPI Top 50 UK Training Providers’ list.”

SQS’ IT training programme consists of over 70 courses, arranged around twelve key testing roles, offering something for everyone. There are three levels of course available for each key role: core training to strengthen existing skills, additional training to continue development and skills top-ups for personalised training, making finding the right training course quick and simple.

SQS provides a range of IT training courses, from agile testing to International Software Quality Testing Board (ISTQB) certification. The most popular courses currently include: ISTQB Advanced Certification, Certified Agile Tester, HP and Microsoft tools training, Exploratory Testing and Test Estimation.

Edmund Monk, Managing Director, The Learning and Performance Institute, said: “The IT Training Top 50 has established itself as a trustworthy reference point for the IT Training sector. The LPI dedicates a lot of time and effort to ensure that the chart provides an accurate reflection of the sectors biggest and most influential companies. The chart has seen many changes over the past decade but it’s always refreshing to see new names such as SQS appearing on the list. Everyone at SQS can be proud of their achievements.”
