Survey Resutls: Big Data Adoption Among the “Mainstream” Global Enterprise

RainStor conducted a Big Data survey, which ran from mid July to early August 2012
in order to learn more about Big Data adoption within large enterprises. Below is a
summary of the findings with responses from mid-senior level executive management
responsible for Big Data infrastructure and analytics environments to support both
business end-users in addition to meeting external compliance regulations. The
responses are from practitioners in industry verticals that include banking, financial
services, communications and manufacturing.
