This week Forrester Research released its report on Advanced Data Visualization (ADV) vendors. We’re glad to see Tableau ranked #1 according to the 29 criteria defined by Forrester. “Tableau Software continues to set the standards,” according to the report.

Doug Henschen, Executive Editor at InformationWeek also covered the data visualization trend with an article about how Match.com uses geospatial analysis and demographic data to plan offline data events for its members.

Stephen Few, the author of Show Me the Numbers as well as other books and blogs about visual bsuiness intelligence, responded to the report in an in-depth blog post.
