Talend Positioned as “Visionary” in Magic Quadrants for Application InfrastructureJune 25, 2012 No Comments
Los Altos, CA – June 25, 2012 -Talend, a global open source software leader, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the newly-published “Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for Systematic Application Integration Projects,” which examined 17 vendors whose products address the needs of systematic A2A, B2B and cloud-to-on-premises application integration projects.
In addition, Talend was positioned in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for Systematic SOA Infrastructure Projects”. According to Gartner, “Properly deploying an SOA infrastructure requires a holistic, top-down, systematic architectural approach. However, most organizations don’t usually implement the full set of SOA infrastructure functionality (nor do they put the relevant products together) at one time. Often, in the early stages of SOA adoption, technical and business requirements are not fully understood, and, if they are, there might not be enough investment capabilities available to implement the full set of features.” Gartner continues, “Therefore, most organizations implement their SOA infrastructures by incrementally adding components as necessary, and as relevant investments can be justified in the context of specific projects.”
“Talend offers next-generation integration solutions, designed to address all enterprise integration needs – including data, applications and business processes,” said Bertrand Diard, CEO and co-founder, Talend. “We believe that our presence in the Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for Systematic Application Integration Projects, as well as in the Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for Systematic SOA Infrastructure Projects, is an acknowledgement of the strategic role our open source solutions are playing for more and more enterprise clients who take a converged approach to their integration deployments.”
