When it comes to the fastest growing ideas in technology and business, they are being driven by the digital innovation the world is seeing. These changes affect every industry. And if you want to compete in the coming years, you need to understand what these growing ideas are and why they have taken hold. That way, you can stand out from the competition and grow your market share:

1. Marketing With Technology

If you aren’t using technology to help market your company, then you are missing out. Long gone are the days where the best approach was to buy a billboard or a radio ad. Today, you need to use the online marketing tools that have risen with the internet revolution.

Social Media: Never before in history could you use a platform that was free and allowed you to communicate with anyone on the planet. Not only that, but you can include written content, video content, or audio content to your choosing. This is something that not enough businesses are taking advantage of. Therefore, it is not as difficult as you think to stand out, even in a crowded market. Social media can be used to tell people what your brand stands for. You can create content that demonstrates the value you bring to people’s’ lives and the information you have that is valuable to them. If you catch someone’s attention on Twitter, for instance, you can go directly to their private messages and get your sales people involved to close the deal. It also allows you to address crises or public relations issues. Without having to go through a middle man, you can say whatever you want and control the narrative.

Automation: One of the biggest marketing technology trends is automation. By using automation marketing software, you don’t need to type tweets several times per day. You can use apps that send them out for you and track all of the results.

Testing: A/B testing is now possible. This means that you can create two versions of your headlines, images, or other parts of your copy and continually change them out as they outperform each other to make your more money. This concept can be applied to email marketing, social media, or your own website.

2. Cloud Computing

More and more companies are using the cloud to achieve their strategic goals. They don’t have the same costs associated with old hardware. They also give you greater flexibility in the deployment of your assets. You can store your information anywhere and deliver it to clients, make payments, or secure your data with encryption.

Cloud computing solutions like Amazon RedShift help you scale your deployment of servers. That means that you can ramp up your servers and pay as you go instead of sinking a lot of your cash flow into something all at once. This lets you reduce your risk and compete with larger companies in your industry like you never could before.

3. Redefining the Sales Process

People are tired of the old way of selling. Pushy sales people have been replaced with smart selling. This blends the use of CRMs, email promotions, and automated follow up calls. This doesn’t mean that you cannot use direct sales, but that you should combine it with online tools.

For instance, there is no reason anymore to make a cold call. In the past, you wouldn’t know anything about a prospect before you got them on the phone or arrived at their door. Now you can use LinkedIn to get every piece of information you need to close the deal in advance.

If you want to stay competitive in this digital age, you must use the emerging trends in technology. They allow you to cut costs, increase cash flow, and grow your sales. So don’t miss out the opportunities to grow your brand. Leverage the ideas above so you can enjoy a top position in your market and be a leader in your industry.
