Here is How You Can Earn Extra Money Only Using Your Smartphone

November 28, 2022 No Comments

by Chace Saylor

As users, we tend to spend much time on our smartphones. We could be surfing the internet, playing games, watching videos, etc. A 2022 study even shows that 46% of Americans spend about four to five hours on their smartphones everyday. If you also spend much time on your smartphone without a monetary goal to reach, this post is for you. We shall discuss the different passive income options to earn extra money using only your smartphone. Let’s begin.

8 Lucrative Ways to make Money from your Smartphone

1. Investing

The world has now changed, and there are different approaches to investing. It’s no longer necessary to visit the bank to buy stocks. Investing has gone digital, allowing users to invest using dedicated mobile apps from banks and financial technology (FinTech) companies.

These apps often provide different options for you to invest. To begin with, you could buy stocks or bonds through these mobile apps. Another way to invest is to allocate some cash to a plan or project. For ease and accountability, you can automate a deduction on your account. As you invest in this project, you earn some profits.

It is advisable to keep an eye on your finances, and set aside some money. Instead of spending all you have, you can daily invest some change in an investment account. This investment will continue to accumulate profits until you can access it.

2. Earning Passive Income

Earning passive income does not require you to take on anything time-consuming or especially laborious. What you basically do is monetize various everyday activities that you would usually encounter throughout your day. This can include surfing the internet, shopping or even walking the dog. Such passive earning systems are usually localized in an app that you can register and install on your smartphone and start using straight away. Such apps track your progress (be it minutes spent online or miles walked) and hand out  monthly payments which can range from a few dozen cents to more than a hundred dollars, depending on how active you were. This obviously can’t substitute a full-time job, but can nevertheless consistently pitch in a few extra bucks here and there.

3. Selling Stuff

Tons of apps let you sell unneeded items. Instead of merely dumping old items in the basement, you can sell them. For instance, if you buy a new TV set model, you can sell the old model and make some money.

4. Taking Surveys

Data collection companies often look for respondents to fill in their surveys. These companies pay you for taking part in these surveys. At times, the surveys could be targeted at a particular market. The responses help companies stay informed on how to improve their products. It will also show them how to satisfy their customers’ needs better. After filling out the survey, you earn extra points you can redeem after you have reached a minimum.

5. Watching Videos

Here is a better way to stay glued to interesting videos without feeling guilty for wasting time. Some websites pay people to watch videos to gain more views and traffic. As you scratch their backs by watching these videos, they scratch yours by paying you. Likewise, they also pay for fulfilling other tasks on their websites. This could be for reading their blog posts, making referrals, daily visits, etc.

6. Playing Games

This is a typical example of ‘earn while you play.’ Companies can pay you for playing video games, trivia games, and adventure games, etc. You could play solo or take part in a tournament to get paid.

7. Watching Ads

Ads can be a nuissance when we are working on important stuff. Yet, there is a way we can get paid for watching them. To get started, sign up on any app that pays people that watch their ads. The more ads you watch, the more you get paid.

You can make a decent side income from the different sources mentioned above. Although making money through your smartphone is not limited to this list, these methods are a great way to start. Keep in mind that making use of several different ones simultaneously can double or triple your initial earnings.
