Enterprise Cloud, Virtualization Trends Drive AMD Direction

As enterprise computing will increasingly hinge on cloud computing and virtualization, an Advanced Micro Devices exec says that AMD’s server chip road map dovetails nicely with that trend. Also reported in this eWeek report is that it is also impossible to avoid the issue of tablets and AMD is taking a more measured approach, particularly in the commercial space.
