Google Puts Its Nexus Q Dream on Hold

Google has delayed the release of the Nexus Q, the spherical media box it first showed off in June. The $300 device was to be a major foothold for Google in the TV space, but early critics reacted unfavorably to its price and perceived lack of versatility. It’s unknown when Nexus Q will hit the shelves, but those who pre-ordered the device will receive an original unit for free.
