Yammer want to Huddle? Those Crazy Social Collaboration Folks!

July 19, 2012 No Comments

Last month the ‘giant company’ Microsoft bought up the social enterprise ‘start-up company’ Yammer for $1.2 billion dollars.

Huddle, a competitor of Microsoft’s SharePoint software, thought maybe not everyone who currently works for Yammer would want to work for a large corporation such as Microsoft. So they were kind enough to extend job offers to the Yammer employees by placing a large billboard outside of the Yammer offices in London offering jobs to Yammer employees that may not want to join Microsoft.

However, the creative team at Yammer had some fun with the billboard and responded by defacing the billboard to say thanks, but no thanks…they are happy to be part of the Microsoft team. It was all tongue-in-cheek and both companies had a good laugh as you can see by their twitter feeds @huddle @yammerguy
