New release frees up storage space up to 90%

IBM announced new software to provide clients with a way to cope with the data deluge and speed up business processes, making it easier for decision makers to gain insights from data.

DB2 10 and InfoSphere Warehouse 10 software will enable IT staff to work on higher value tasks such as big data and business analytics by accessing, compressing, and analysing data.

The new release will eliminate expensive application code by integrating with big data systems, compressing data into tighter spaces to prevent storage sprawl and slices information from the past, present, and future.
