The mobile social network Path has come up with a social search system that’s more like a memory bank than an archive, allowing users the flexibility to search in many different ways. “Think of Facebook as Home Depot with long aisles to travel before reaching a pile of stuff, and Path as a local hardware store owned by the person who lives in the apartment above it,” said journalism professor Rich Hanley.
