Chicago, IL. (October 8, 2013) BladeRoom Group, leading provider of mission-critical data center facilities has announced it is entering the US market and has begun the assembly of modular data centers with the first facility due to be live January next year. BladeRoom USA, the result of a partnership between BladeRoom Group and Modular Power Solutions LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rosendin Holdings, Inc. combines over 20 years of global experience delivering complex factory assembled facilities with the USA’s largest privately owned and most dynamic mission-critical electrical contractor. The new venture will allow BladeRoom USA to be the only provider of turnkey next-generation data centers that combine the benefits of both permanent brick and mortar construction and modular systems using the latest off-site assembly methods.

Since 2010, BladeRoom has delivered 29 BladeRoom data centers on 3 continents, providing the fastest time to market, and operational costs that are among the lowest in the world as a result of the innovative cooling design. With multiple award winning sites and Uptime Institute Tier III accredited installations, BladeRoom has created a step change in the way permanent data centers are provided, reducing client risk, total cost of ownership and increasing ownership profitability.

“We realize the uncertainty and marketplace confusion that exists when determining what type of data center facility is right for your business,” said BladeRoom USA Head of Communications, Barnaby Smith. “We see BladeRoom USA leading the necessary progression of the data center industry because we are the only manufacturer of a factory assembled facility that is built to your exact requirements without compromising the flexibility and robustness of a traditional data center. Our facilities become operational faster, and operate at a lower cost than your standard data center solution due to increased energy efficiency.”

The BladeRoom System is unique among modular designs; taking a full turnkey brick and mortar mission- critical facility and delivering it through a fast, scalable off-site assembled approach. Like a traditional data center BladeRoom is IT vendor neutral, designed to accommodate any racks or free standing IT equipment and able to be delivered at any size and power density to meet today’s needs or future requirements. The approach can be used to transform any available land or existing building into a single or multi-story Tier III data center in months. In the past, modular data centers have been reserved for large end-users with well-defined needs, but the flexibility of the BladeRoom System has been widely adopted by wholesale and colocation providers, offering a less risky and more profitable approach for their business than a traditional build.

BladeRoom USA will be opening the doors to its new BladeRoom Technology Center in Chicago, Illinois in January 2014 to give prospective clients a first-hand look at a BladeRoom data center facility.
