Google brings MS Office Docs to Google Cloud Connect

This week, Google announced it was finally incorporating DocVerse functionality into Google Cloud Connect, and put out a call for Beta testers.

You may recall that last March Google purchased a small company called DocVerse. This was significant because DocVerse provides a way to view Microsoft Office documents in the cloud. It’s taken a while, but this functionality is finally being incorporated into Google Docs and renamed Google Cloud Connect for Microsoft Office.
