Red Hat to Acquire FuseSource

June 28, 2012 No Comments

SOURCE: FuseSource.com

FuseSource has agreed to be acquired by Red Hat, Inc. Red Hat is a $1B open source infrastructure and middleware company committed to customer success, and there could not be a better home for the FuseSource products and services.

Red Hat and FuseSource are completely aligned in their vision for open source – not only in how they build products but also in how they value the community. Both develop products by starting with best-in-class open source projects, and both remain committed to contributing back to the community. As a united company Red Hat can offer more comprehensive solutions, ultimately getting our products into the hands of more development teams and grow the community.

This acquisition is a huge win and source of momentum for both our customers and our partners. The FuseSource team will continue to offer the highest qualities of service, and to invest heavily in the technology – but now with access to additional expertise and a broader portfolio of technology. We are very excited about taking our open source integration products to the next level, and we will continue to share the details of this acquisition with you as they become available.
