Salesforce.com Hits Home Run With Earnings

Shares of Salesforce.com soared nearly 16% Friday morning to $134 as investors rushed to buy into the company after it reported record quarterly revenue that was up 30% in the third quarter. The company impressed the Street with its booking and billings numbers, the former growing by 36.7%, driving profits to two cents above the consensus analyst estimate for the quarter.
