Tell Your Company’s Story

As humans, we are naturally drawn to interesting stories. We not only tell stories to others to connect with the people around us, we also tell stories to emotionally bond with others as well. In this case, the source of your story will be your company’s brand.

The right story will help break down the barriers that are often created between customers/clients and a brand/company. Your brand will become more relatable to your consumers. Stories are excellent for:

* Explaining your company’s Unique Selling Proposition

* Showing brand identity

* Creating brand recall

Make sure your story is something that is memorable and unique. For example, if your business sells an e juice subscription to consumers, make sure that your audience is the hero of your story and not your brand. Your brand will need to act as a resource that will help your audience achieve the goal.

* Initiate discussions among fans with blog posts

* Start a discussion about a topic that is trending and ask fans for their opinions

Word of Mouth

There is no doubt that word of mouth marketing is a very effective marketing strategy for online and offline companies. Recent studies have confirmed that almost 92% of consumers purchase goods and services based on the recommendations from friends and family, and they prefer recommendations over advertising.

When your happy customers are vocal, they will help reinforce the fact that the products and services are from a quality company that can be trusted. Potential customers will be more inclined to make purchases from your company.

Whatever strategy you choose to implement, always remember what is important with social media marketing. Your customers are the most important part of your marketing plan. They are the real owners of the social media sites, not the brands or the companies. Remember to orient all marketing strategies with them in mind, and you will see an increase to your bottom line.
